Detroit officials are planning to hold a second career fair for ex-offenders in January after the first fair drew a large crowd. The first fair -- aimed at making jobs available to people who have felony convictions -- was held on Wednesday. Employers were on hand to offer about 200 jobs, but more than a thousand people showed up looking for a second chance. WDET's Erica Murphy spoke with City Council President Charles Pugh about how hiring people who may be overlooked because of a criminal history is is a good idea for a company's bottom line.
