As Israel moves ground troops into one of the two remaining areas of Palestine, specifically the area known as the Gaza strip, protests are occurring around the world.

Today Quinn speaks with Gershon Kedar, Deputy Consul General of Israel to the Midwest.

Quinn then speaks with the Director of the Arab American Anti-Discrimination, Imad Hamad. What are Arabs, Muslims and those from Palestine in Michigan feel about the Israeli assault.

And President-Elect Obama has chosen the pastor to give the prayer at his inauguration and many people are not happy. Quinn speaks with Alicia Skillman of the Triangle Foundation and asks her opinion of Obama's choice of Pastor Rick Warren. The conservative Warren is openly against marriage equality for Gay Americans. Gay Americans voted overwhemingly for Obama in the election.

Detroit's dire financial situation and the Grand Prix is canceled

Detroit's chief financial officer, Joe Harris, says the city is facing a financial crisis. He says the former Kilpatrick administration was basically making up numbers to paint a rosier picture.
